About Us

The Harmonic Ketones Flute Quartet has been in existence over 15 years now. We are professional scientists and hobby musicians, sharing our love of music in many venues across Northern Colorado. We perform at farmers markets, assisted living facilities, fundraisers, and festivals. While we play some standard classical fare, we have found that we really enjoy reaching beyond the usual Bach and Mozart. Thus we have arranged music for ourselves to span many genres, including jazz, Celtic, popular, folk, show tunes, Latin music, etc. We make frequent use of alto flute, bass flute, bassoon, and occasionally other instruments in our performances.
